Sandy Par is a 4 bedroom, 4 bath home in the quiet subdivision of Lafitte's Landing, with unobstructed views of the gulf. The partially covered, furnished deck has stunning views of the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. You can't imagine a lovelier place to start your day, or end it! When you are ready to hit the waves, you are just moments away from the beach, via the private golf cart/foot path.
The kitchen is fully stocked for all of your cooking needs, with stainless steel appliances, large kitchen island, wine fridge, and both a Keurig and regular coffee maker. The kitchen/dining area opens up to a beautifully decorated living area, with a large television and seating for the family. The home also offers high speed internet for your devices, as well as an on-site washer and dryer.
With 2100 square feet, Sandy Par easily sleeps 12 comfortably. There are two bedrooms upstairs, and two on the main floor.
Upstairs, you'll find the primary bedroom, with a king bed, television, and an ensuite bathroom. This bath has both a walk-in shower, and large jetted soaking tub with double vanities. There is a private covered balcony off of the primary bedroom with beautiful views of the beach and Gulf. The other upstairs bedroom is oversized, with a queen bed and a full size bed and an ensuite bathroom.
Bedrooms three and four are on the main floor. Bedroom three sleeps four in two sets of twin XL bunk beds. Bedroom four features a queen bed and has a private entrance to the front deck.
Downstairs there is covered parking, a fish cleaning station, and a private outdoor shower for cleaning up after a day in the sun. You can cook up the day's catch (or some burgers) on the charcoal grill, and serve it at the built-in picnic table - there is seating and room for entertaining. You'll want to come back to Sandy Par for your beach vacations!
Two small dogs (under 35 pounds) are allowed with a pet fee. Sorry, no cats. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.
The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

80th Birthday Week
My kids surprised me by bringing my 4 sisters from New England to stay with us at Sandy Par for a week. Beautiful house, close to beach. Had everything we needed for a great visit.

Coastal Bliss at Sandy Par
I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming beachfront vacation rental on Bolivar Peninsula. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the beautiful decor and thoughtful design. Here are the highlights of my stay:
The interior of the house was a delightful blend of coastal chic and comfort. Nautical accents, deep hues, and beach-inspired artwork created a serene atmosphere. It felt like a true escape from everyday life.
Just a short walk away from the front door, I found myself on the sandy shores of the Gulf of Mexico. The community access path made it incredibly convenient to walk to the beach, and it’s very close to the beach access road. Whether it was sunrise strolls or evening drives, the beach was always within reach.
Breathtaking Views: Mornings were magical as I sipped my coffee on the spacious patio. The sound of crashing waves and the salty breeze accompanied panoramic views of the ocean. Evenings were equally enchanting, with moonrise reflections dancing on the water.
Ideal Location! Bolivar Peninsula strikes the perfect balance between tranquility and accessibility. It’s close enough to Galveston for a day trip (just a short ferry ride away), yet far away from the hustle and bustle. The nearby bird sanctuaries and natural beauty added to the allure. Super close to the big store and many local restaurants.
Sleeping Space for plenty! The rental comfortably accommodated our group of 10. With three well-appointed bedrooms and one bunk room , everyone had their own cozy retreat after a day of sun and sand. The plush beds and ocean-themed decor added to the overall charm.
This beachside retreat was a slice of paradise.
Whether you’re seeking an adult weekend with friends or a family vacation, I highly recommend this Bolivar Peninsula gem. 🏖️
