Relax on the quiet end of the Bolivar Peninsula at A Cool Change, a beach house located in the Gilchrist area. Enjoy a completely unobstructed view from the porch or mezzanine level or take a 2 minute walk to the beach. This 3 bed, 2 bath home is perfect for a small gathering or two families. Each bedroom features a king bed, add the air mattresses and you have room for 8. Master bedroom is equipped with an ensuite bath. On the mezzanine level you will find porch swings, games and a picnic table that seats 10. Other features include hot and cold water outdoor shower, foot washing station and a fish cleaning sink. There are deck chairs on the mezzanine as well as the top floor and there are gates that enclose the mezzanine and porch. You will find a fully stocked kitchen, high speed internet with USB outlets in all bedrooms, as well as coffee pot suitable for K-cups or regular drip.
We sometimes experience power outages at the beach, but at A Cool Change you will not have to worry. This home is set up with a generator that can supply the whole home with power.
Cargo lift available with additional charge. No pets are allowed. All Swede’s Real Estate vacation rentals are NON-SMOKING properties. (No smoking on deck - ground level only)

Amazing!
Our family of five stayed in this house and it was PERFECT! The house was beautiful and decorated so cute. All of the amenities were very nice as well. One of our favorite features was the second floor and the porch swings...the view was amazing!

A cool change
Had a wonderful time in this lovely home. The only downside was the street noise, but we got used to that. It is in a quiet, not overly populated area and easy access to the beach. The use of the lift was definitely worth the additional charge.

Wonderful!!!
We had our Family Christmas, and it was wonderful. The house is very clean and decorated so nice you have everything you need. Perfet place to stay and enjoy the beach. We will definitely be back.

A Cool Change is a gorgeous beach house
The Beach house was so gorgeous! It looks brand new. It has everything you could possibly need during your stay. The kitchen has everything plus so many extras! The furniture is beautiful and comfortable. The mattresses and sheets were so comfortable. The shower is the best! It has an optional cargo elevator lift you can rent for $100. That was a life saver since the beachhouse is on the 3rd floor. The ocean is across the street but the entrance is directly in front of the house. We brought a side by side so if you have that or a golf cart that is helpful. We will definitely be renting this house again.
