This unique 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom beachfront cabin comfortably sleeps 10 people. The home is located in a quiet part of the Bolivar Peninsula, in Caplen; however, it is still only a few minutes away from all the restaurants and shopping of Crystal Beach. With its large yard and extended sun deck area, this cottage offers your family plenty of room to enjoy the sun and sand of the Gulf of Mexico. You are literally only steps from the beach!
Inside, Centurion offers more than just the comforts of home. You will love the rustic charm of this home, with panoramic views of the beach all through the house. It also has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you will need to prepare your meals while on vacation. (including a regular drip coffee maker), washer and dryer, and high speed internet for your convenience.
The primary bedroom has one king bed; and bedrooms two and three each offer one queen bed. There are two queen futons in the loft upstairs that provide additional room, and would be a fun space for older kids.
The downstairs area is the perfect spot to grill family meals that can be served while sitting around the picnic table. The outdoor sand shower is perfect for rinsing off on your way back in from the beach. You will love coming to Centurion - for the outdoor space, private beach access, comfortable cabin, and the peace of the Peninsula!
No large events, please. Your small dog (under 35 pounds) is welcome with a pet fee. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.
The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

Reviews
Very nice home and location
Let me start by saying I don't usually leave reviews on places I've stayed. I always read the reviews, but rarely leave one. I'm going to change that this time. We just returned from a weekend at this house. It was amazing! We couldn't believe how nice it was. The location is very nice. It's about 5 miles from the grocery store, and about 7-8 miles from the check-in office. Check-in and check-out was extremely easy and quick. The listing says it will sleep 10. It will sleep 10, in beds, 13 if you have little ones that don't mind grabbing a couch! All of the indoor, and outdoor, furniture is very comfortable!! The beds are VERY comfortable!! Water pressure in the bathrooms is more than enough. The views from inside the house, and out on the balconies, are stunning. There is beach access by foot, golf cart, or Jeep. This was one of very few properties that was this close to the beach and had access through the rear of the property.
Now for the things we wished had been different. There is CLEARLY a mosquito problem on the Peninsula, and they are EVERYWHERE. As soon as we stepped out of our vehicles, we were swarmed, and I mean by 50 or more at once. I only bring this up to let people know to have plenty of bug spray handy when you arrive and stay. You will use it constantly. This isn't an indictment of the property. As I said, the mosquitos were everywhere!! The grill at this property is in desperate need of replacement. It is on its last leg, and I'm surprised it didn't fall completely apart when we used it. It's rusting out very, very badly and it was all I could do to not get rusty pieces of metal, on our food, when trying to close the lid. It's bad bad.
All in all, we WILL be choosing this house for future visits to the Peninsula. It was really special.
