Bella Vista is a beautiful coastal inspired beach home that offers amazing sunsets and spectacular views of the beach, Gulf of Mexico, and East Galveston Bay all from the furnished wrap-around deck. The house has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, and is located on the quiet end of the Bolivar Peninsula, while still being just a short drive to shopping and restaurants.
Bright and airy, Bella Vista’s great room is flooded with natural light that bathes the beautiful furnishings with a warm glow. The spacious open concept beach house allows for easy entertaining between the large living room with an electric fireplace, dining room, and kitchen with breakfast bar and stools. The kitchen is fully stocked with a drip coffee machine, blender, microwave, slow cooker, etc. Some pantry items, spices, and limited paper supplies are also provided.
The master bedroom has an amazing beachfront view with a king size bed. The remaining bedrooms include a twin bunkbed in the second bedroom; another bedroom with one queen over queen bunk and one full size bed, and 2 queen beds in the final room. There is also a pull out sofa in the family room for extra sleeping accommodations. All bedrooms include Roku/FuboTV and ceiling fans. High speed internet is provided for streaming on all TVs.
Then there's the the lower level you will find a large entertaining space with a charcoal grill, picnic/bar area and outdoor seating. The convenient outdoor sand shower is perfect for rinsing off your time at the beach. You can experience the wonderful sights and sounds of the coast, whether bird watching in the Bolivar Flats or fishing in the gulf. Bella Vista beach house is perfect for your next family get-together or best friends' getaway weekend. This is a family-friendly beach that cannot be beat, so bring the everyone and enjoy!
If you need extra space, another Swedes property, Bach Haus, is directly across the street!
Small dogs (35 pounds and under) allowed with pet fee. Cargo lift is NOT available for guest use. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.
The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

We started vacation here 3 years ago. We love this rental. The rental staff are amazing. I’ve never had any issues dealing with them. Our entire family has such a great time every year.

Relaxing Getaway
Beautiful home right on the beach and very quiet location. We did have to buy soaps, a blow dryer, dishwasher tablets, sugar etc. About an hour drive to Galveston unless you get caught in weekend ferry traffic which took hours. We did enjoy the Anahouc Wildlife park nearby and plenty of seashells!

beautiful cabin & beautiful view
great location away from the busier section of beach,plenty of room & kitchen very well stocked. only issues were patio furniture needs repair-several slats fell out of chairs(rusted)-the kitchen countertops were very gritty from sand/top bunks also sandy.yes it is the beach but this was way above normal sand exposure. overall a great time-will plan to stay here again!!

Beautiful beach front home
The house is beautiful and clean and decorated really cute! Beach front was perfect for beachcombing and fishing. The beds were all comfortable and my family really enjoyed their stay.

Cute house with a secluded beach
The inside of the house was clean, nicely decorated and very beachy. Our 8 people were very comfortable. There were many many light bulbs burned out but we made it work. The deck on the outside was spacious although we wished it had a table to sit at. The deck was in poor repair and had lots of sharp and rough spots from peeling paint. The beach was very close and easy to get down to.

Family Trip at Bella Vista
The beach house was absolutely wonderful and accommodating for our family and our pup Phoebe! The home was beautiful, the view was spectacular, and the close access to the beach made everything so much easier to and from the beach. The local food places were all about 10-15 minute drive and the food was all so amazing! Perfect spot for your family to enjoy a beachfront week!

Perfect Location for a Family Getaway
The house is well-kept and comfortable. We were so excited it is also pet friendly so our dog could come for his first beach trip too. With the beach access road right next to the house, it was easy to load up the car and drop off our needs for the day on the beach and then drive the car back so we weren’t hauling back and forth on foot. We loved our stay. The only downfall is there isn’t a separate washer and dryer so if we had stayed longer than our 4 days we might have gone to a laundromat. Other than that, beautiful property and amenities.

I rent from Swedes every year around this time of the year. I have stayed at multiple properties and have always had a good time. I plan to continue this trend. My friends and I enjoyed this property. It was quiet and comfortable.

Love this place!! Definitely coming back!!
This was our very first time renting a beach house and staying the night on the beach. It was absolutely amazing. The house was beautiful, with the beach just a few feet away. It was clean and well kept. There were enough rooms and beds for eveyone in our party. The experience was just wonderful!!
We are planning another beach trip around spring break and we’ll definitely be going back!!

Beach Vacation
The house is beautiful and it is in a great location! Beautiful views! Steps away from the beach! The parking isn’t great for a 16 person house. Major downfall: the TINY washer/dryer combo. This was a major problem for our family. It took 2 hours to wash and dry maybe 2 towels and a swimsuit. This house needs a normal washer and separate dryer. Also you are not allowed to use the lift. This should be made clear during the rental
process. Otherwise it was a great vacation.
