Hello there, can anyone tell me is this beachfront or is there a street between the house and beach?

This house is one small sand dune away from the beach and there is a trail over the dune. The road in front of the house and is residential (i.e. not much traffic at all), but if you want road access to the beach it is just about four houses down.

We stayed in this house at the end of April. It was in a great location (one sand dune away from the beach and road access to the beach a few houses down) with a nice view of Gulf from the deck. The layout of the house is open so there aren't any real bed rooms, but two twin beds are on the other side of the house allowing for some separation. There is one double bed, four twin beds and three twin sized mats on top of storage boxes that will sleep three more people. We only had four people so I don't know how comfortable the mats are, but they seemed alright.

This house has an outside shower that was great for rinsing off and washing the dog. The main shower is not located in the house. You have to go outside of the house, go down stairs, and unlock a room that contains the shower, a toilet, a sink, and a small changing area. The shower is small and wouldn't meet hotel standards, but if you are a camper its ok. If you aren't getting hot water make sure the water heater is on and pull the door toward you to unlock the bathroom. There is a toilet and sink in the house.

The house didn't have a grill so bring your own and don't forget to bring your own sheets, special pots and pans you may need (the house had all the standard pots and pans and utinsels), and paper products/garbage bags.

The beach was nice. The water isn't as clear as Padre Island, but the the beach was pretty clean, the waves were decent, there are lots of shells, we saw dolphins and crabs, and the beach wasn't crowded.

Overall, the house was cute, comfortable, and we had a great stay. I would recommend it anyone and just let them know the few things I mentioned above.

We stayed here from 6/27-6/29 and everyone seemed to love it! The pictures you see above are misleading... because when you step in you'll notice how NICE it actually is! I took the last person's advise and turned on the water heater 1st thing when we arrived. There is no washer or dryer, but everything was great, you wake up and look out the window to see the ocean. There is plenty of silverware, but we did bring napkins, toilet paper, and trash bags. The AC was working well, there's satellite, house is equipped with 1 TV, a stereo, VCR, and maybe a DVD player, coffe maker, blender, pots, pans, plates, drinking cups, stove was working but the oven started acting up. The ladies at Swede's were nice too. At night we got to see a lot of fireworks, there's a small convenient store a minute's drive away and a bigger grocery store down the road from the neighborhood. As I said, we all loved it and had a great time! Thanks, maybe we'll catch it for next year!

The cabin was very nice .we stayed the week from 6-20 til 6-26 .didnt like the fact that the only shower was down stairs...the ac did not cool the cabin off during the day ...when your out on the beach all day you would like to come in and get some cool relief from the sun ...it didnt cool off til late at night ..if you tried to cook in the cabin it heated it up too.the screen door would not shut properly that had alot to do with it not getting cool enough ... all in all we enjoyed the viewe this cabin has an the convenience to all the stores ..dont forget to bring chairs it only has one to sit in on the deck..
