WOW!! What a beautiful place. Right on the beach. We could watch our kids from the deck without having to go to the beach. With all of the rain this summer it was sure great to have TV's in every bedroom and one in each of the living rooms. The kitchen was great and all of the bathrooms are so pretty. I can't wait to come back

Last weekend was my second trip to Crystal Beach this year and I stayed at Abalone Shores again. The yard is really comming into its own and will look better every year, it has changed alot from the last time I was threre. I slept in a different room this time and Oh My God are the beds in that room comfortable!! I think I'll have to get one of those for my house. The weather had me scared because rain was in the forecast for every day of my trip. It rained and it rained alot but oddly enough only at night. The sun rises and sunsets were so pretty with the thunderclouds in the sky and the sun back lighting them. It was also pretty cool watching the shrimp boats saining up and down the beach. This was really one of my better trips to the pennisula. I even felt like I was at home which is pretty strange feeling when traveling. I love this house.

I stayed here a couple of times now and each time I have a better nights sleep then the night before. I have slept on every bed here and each one is better then the last. The view from the deck is awesome as far as the eye can see both directions. When the weather is cold and the moon is out you will enjoy the view without even stepping outside the door. The beach is the most happening place on this little island.

I am open one week in June 9-15. July has no vacancy.
I should post that these comment lines are not connected/linked to the owners of the properties or the Swedes Management Company. If they get answered it is only because as an owner I read them. If the owner does not look at the comment section of their properties web page then they would not know to answer rental inquires. If you call Swedes or E-mail them at the phone or address on this site they will happily help you make a reservation.

We enjoyed our stay the weekend of April 11 & 12. What a wonderful house! Everything was so neat and clean and very nice. Prior to our stay I was worried about what the house would be like. The only other times that I have been at Galveston I have stayed at Moody Gardens. However once I arrived I was so relieved - this house was as nice as the Hotel at Moody Gardens and Private! It was a wonderful weekend and I look forward to coming again in the future! Thank you for sharing your home!

Just spent a week at this cabin. Great beach views, no walkover though. Bring your own Lysol because this was not the cleanest cabin. Looks like maids did no cleaning whatsoever, so we had to clean before our stay and we left the cabin cleaner than it has been in a while.
All in all, a nice cabin.

Swedes Real Estate does not look at these posts and you will have to call their office to make reservations and find out availability.
